Today, we’re talking about preparing for your accelerator program interview. They require unique preparation because it’s different from a standard pitch.
1. Try to get 3 to 5 mock interviews.
Start by tapping your network for alumni you know, but it’s also fine to hustle for them on social media. Once you land an interview, lots of people will be willing to help.
2. Use online resources.
You can search for lists of the questions you will likely be asked, and there’s even websites that will ask you the questions with a timer for extra pressure!

3. Create model answers.
Write out ideal answers for all the questions you can find and roleplay with your team. Don’t try to memorize the exact wording, this exercise is designed to help you keep your answers concise when it matters most.
4. Share the responsibility.
Decide who will handle questions on each topic and practice as a team. This will demonstrate your team’s cohesion and complementary skill sets. It’s not a good look if only one person talks.
Best of luck out there.
