Rebranding at Pre-seed

Hello, everyone. Today, we’re talking about rebranding. In the early days of a start-up, it’s common to pick a brand name that might not work for the company’s lifespan. But even if your brand name is pretty bad, you should try to wait on rebranding until after your seed round.

If you have been unfortunate enough to pick something so terrible that it’s completely unusable fine, but you really shouldn’t spend more than $5K on it until you’ve raised at least $1M. Once you have raised more than $1M, you’ll have the time and budget to do the rebranding properly.

Now, your investors may complain about this so you can agree, but let them know, it’s a problem for when the seed round is closed not before. Don’t be tempted by their premium suggestions.
